While this is not something we usually do, as a member of Menan City Council, I'm personally 'volunteered' for a lot of activities surrounding Menan's 4th of July Celebration.

This year's volunteer opportunities included overseeing fundraising, the expansion / relocation of festivities, manning the information booth, giving Lieutenant Governor Brad Little a personal tour of festivities, and the obvious highlight, designing the very prestigious limited edition Menan 4th of July T-Shirt.

In this case, I've tried to distill the rural Americana character of Menan into a simple t-shirt.
